Hellions of Troy Roller Derby is the premier derby league of New York’s Capital Region. These feisty rabble-rousers are a rolling juggernaut of tough-as-nails athleticism, brutal competition and white-knuckle excitement. There’s not a jammer they can’t whip, a blocker they can’t lay flat on her back or a pack they can’t send into a sprawling pile up.

The Hellions of Troy are 100 percent skater-owned and operated. The league aims to promote camaraderie and athleticism among women through regular practice, competitive bouting and DIY organization.

Every Hellion is a combination of athlete, punk rocker and show woman. Together, this mischievous bunch leaves other leagues quivering in their speed boots.

The league, formed in 2008, is a part of the women’s roller derby revolution of the 21st century and are dedicated to making the sport as fast, strategic and gripping as possible. The Hellions of Troy are working toward inclusion in the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association and are always looking for new skaters and referees to join us on our adventure.
